Fusahiro, Samurai sword smith Master

BLOG

When Fusahiro was in junior high school, he saw a Japanese sword on display at the National Museum in Ueno, Tokyo, and was so fascinated by its beauty that he decided to enter the world of swordsmithing.

Although many swords are displayed in Western museums, he was amazed to see that they were still in existence in the same beautiful condition as when they were first manufactured, without rusting like Japanese swords.

He then apprenticed himself to a sword smith in his 20s and later started his own business as a sword smith.

In this sword smithing experience, visitors can observe the actual sword smithing process while opening the history and culture of the sword not only as a weapon, but also as a votive offering and an expression of the will that is passed down from generation to generation.
